new pics
I did get a small amount of time to walk around with my point and shoot last night in the yard after taking Ben to McD's. Here are the pictures I took then played with on the computer. I began reading digital photography for dummies. I understand the value of pixels and that a high number of pixels on a small sensor is not necessarily good. When I bought my digital camera three or so years ago, pixels was just a word to me and I blindly followed the advice of someone in the store, not wanting to spend a whole lot. Well, at least my camera is good enough to play with. I also understand that the quality can be compromised with cropping - some of these photos have been cropped. And, that sharing anything online does not impact the quality - it is in the printing that quality is lost. Ahhhh, Leo, I understand a little more about what you were helping me to look for when I was obsessing about sheep photographs online!
Each time I have my camera with its cord to hook it up to the computer, since early yesterday, Benny must think it is a timer. I use a timer with him for some of his programming, one being the vacuum cleaner desensitization. He whines when he sees my camera with cord in my hand or on the table. If he can, he takes it and puts it on the table I keep the timer. That is an example of his rigidity. The vacuum, as he has hated it, must be in one set place, aside of an end table in the living room. Apparently, timers must be in their places as well. It assures him they are not going to be used, he can see them and know his environment is not going to cause him distress.
Time to cook Ben's breakfast, give his meds, get showered and dressed. I do have some time to myself today - at least 3 hours. I may ask Freddie if he'd like more work than three hours.
