Ahhhhh

My first day off work for the holiday vacation! IT felt so good to come home from work yesterday and stretch out on the sofa, knowing I did not have to run out to gift shop, being at peace that I do not have a tree. I tried to nap, but did not really sleep. Ben was engaged on youtube, but it was loud at times and I had to get up a few times to turn down the volume. I did clean two bathrooms out of three in my beginning to get the house in order. I also threw one load of laundry into the wash and later, ran to CVS to get pull ups and wipes and gift boxes. Ben and I were on the sofa after I had him bathed, had given him a suppository, he used the toilet and gave him his meds, including the first dose of the appetite stimulant to (hopefully) facilitate his food program. I dozed off even before the end of the Grinch. I woke around 0200 and went to his bed to sleep, leaving him on the sofa. I need to wash my bedding.

Ben woke me around 0800. He is up, ut of his pull up, had his meds and breakfast. I have the dishwasher running and I began the kitchen clean up. Organizing the edible gifts given to me by co-workers, finally putting cards on the mantle. That is the start for the kitchen.

On my agenda today .... kitchen cleaned and organized, buying what food I need until the grocery store opens again the day after Christmas, boxing and wrapping my kids' gifts, maybe a tree.

I cleared through email, read and looked at pics on my two fav blogs and know I really want to develop the look of my own. I will find time to have small amounts of my own interests.
